Job Title: Workshop Labourer
Location: Romford, RM3
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:00 – 14:00

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our client’s busy fabrication workshop. The role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced environment, producing components to a high standard of quality and safety. Being able to measure, use hand tools such as a Chop Saw is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and assembly of components using hand tools
• Operation of workshop machinery, including presses and other mechanical equipment
• Reading and working from basic drawings or job instructions
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Experience working in a workshop or fabrication environment (preferred but not essential)
• Confidence using hand tools; experience with presses or machinery is an advantage
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
