About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our client’s team in Basildon. This is a permanent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a proven background in fast-paced warehouse operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining high standards of safety and productivity, and supporting multiple warehouse teams to achieve performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations.
• Lead, motivate, and support multiple warehouse teams.
• Monitor productivity and ensure operational targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Manage stock control, goods-in, goods-out, and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct team briefings and provide ongoing training and support.
• Address operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Work closely with management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing teams within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience overseeing multiple teams or operational areas is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements.
• Competent IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems.
