Current Shifts : Mon – Thur 06:00 – 18:00 or 10:00 – 22:00.
New Year Shifts : W1 Mon – Fri 06:00 – 14:00, W2 Mon – Fri 14:00 – 22:00 Rotating weekly.

We’re looking for a Production Line Operator to join our client’s busy manufacturing and production team in Basildon. This role combines the duties of a Production Line Operative and Machine Operator, supporting continuous production and keeping machinery running efficiently throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production line machinery and automated equipment.
- Use HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems to control, adjust, and troubleshoot machinery.
- Keep the production line running smoothly, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.
- Perform visual and quality checks on finished products.
- Carry out basic fault-finding and report issues to maintenance or supervisors.
- Follow strict Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation on the shop floor.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily output targets.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Process Worker, Production Operative, Machine Operator, or similar.
- Experience in a continuous production line or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Confident using HMI screens and following machine operating procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Health & Safety conscious and able to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
