About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Production Operative to join our team in Basildon. This role involves carrying out a variety of mechanical and inspection tasks to support the smooth running of our client’s production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out de-rusting and cleaning of mechanical parts
- Conducting engine checks, fuel tank checks, and part inspections
- Supporting general workshop activities and following set processes
- Ensuring health & safety standards are always maintained
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines and production targets
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a production, workshop, or mechanical operative role is desirable
- A mechanical background or relevant technical education is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with good problem-solving skills
- Hands-on approach and willingness to work in a physical environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team ethic
