Location: Romford
Hours: Full-time (8am – 5pm Monday-Friday)
Salary: £45-47K per annum
About the Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Elevator Service Engineer to join a growing and professional team based in Romford, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for a stable Monday–Friday role with strong benefits and long-term prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and call-out repairs on a range of lift systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs in a timely manner
- Read and interpret lift manuals and wiring diagrams accurately
- Work on a variety of third-party equipment
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients and colleagues
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (required)
- Proven experience as a Lift/Elevator Service Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of third-party lift equipment
- Ability to follow technical manuals and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a variety of people
- Ability to use own initiative
- Flexible and adaptable approach towards work
- CRB checked (or willing to undergo a check)
- Full UK driving licence
