Job Title: Factory Operative / Delivery Driver
Location: South Woodham Ferrers
Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (08:30 – 16:30, Monday to Friday)
Pay: Starting from £12.71 per hour (review after 3 months)
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Factory Operative / Delivery Driver to join a well-established saw repair business based in South Woodham Ferrers. This is a varied role combining hands-on factory work with customer-facing delivery duties. Some heavy lifting will be involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting within the factory with saw repairs and general production duties
- Preparing and handling customer orders with a high level of accuracy
- Driving a company van to collect and deliver customer orders
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and collections
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 3 years)
- Clean driving licence preferred
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- Friendly and professional manner when dealing with customers
- Previous factory or driving experience is advantageous but not essential
